Jerry Klein Gerald W. Klein “Jerry” has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since June 1998. He joined the Company as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February 1996 and has been a Director since August 1994. Prior to joining the Company, he was President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Megamation Incorporated, a publicly traded company that manufactured automation work cells used in various industries. From August 1991 to October 1994, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of PricePoint, Inc., a start-up company engaged in the development of electronic retail pricing systems developed to replace paper shelf labels in supermarkets and other retail markets. He began his financial career as an auditor and CPA for Coopers and Lybrand in Philadelphia.
Jerry Klein Gene Mauro is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Entertainment Games, Inc., where he manages development, production, marketing and sales across the LA, Boston and PA offices. Mauro is a digital entertainment executive with over 16 years of consumer product expertise and a track record of launching video game and internet companies. His experience spans all aspects of bringing products to market, including business planning, product iteration, raising capital and marketing to end-users. He co-founded Heyday Games, Inc., which was acquired by Entertainment Games in 2011, and has worked on market leading products including; Poptropica, the largest virtual world on the Internet, owned by Pearson Publishing; Social Gold, a micro-transaction company sold to Google in 2010; gamerDNA, a social network for gamers sold to Crispy Gamer in 2010; Bunchball, the first mover in “gamification” and first to launch social games on Facebook; Myelin Media, a game publisher Mauro started with Carl Icahn; and Capital Entertainment Group a company Mauro started with the Founders of the Xbox from Microsoft.
Jerry Klein F.J. Lennon is Chief Creative Officer of Entertainment Games, Inc., heading up the company’s Montrose, CA studio.
During his 25-year career in the game industry, Lennon has been instrumental in the development of forty-eight interactive games, educational software titles, and entertainment properties for companies including Electronic Arts, Take 2 Interactive, Disney Interactive Studios, Mattel, Sesame Street, DIRECTV, Paramount Digital Entertainment, Simon and Schuster Interactive, Marvel Comics, MicroProse Software, and the U.S. Federal Government. He was the co-founder of Heyday Games, Inc., which was acquired by Entertainment Games in 2011, and Paragon Software Corporation (the first company to produce Marvel Comics games), which was acquired by MicroProse Software Inc. in 1992. He was instrumental in the launch of Take 2 Interactive, where he served as Creative Director and Senior Vice President of Product Development from 1993-1996. He is the author of Soul Trapper (Atria/Simon and Schuster, 2011) and Devil’s Gate (2012), the first two novels in a trilogy of supernatural thrillers that follow the life of rogue ghost hunter, Kane Pryce; Every Mistake in the Book (HarperCollins/Regan Books, 2001), a light-hearted business memoir about Lennon’s years in the video game industry, and numerous screenplays and teleplays in various stages of development.
Tom Murphy Thomas W. Murphy “Tom” has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since July 1999. He joined the Company as Controller in May 1996. Prior to joining the Company, he was Controller of Megamation Incorporated, a publicly traded company that manufactured automation work cells used in various industries, from January 1995 until April 1996, and Accounting Manager of Ohmicron, Inc., a biotechnology company, from January 1993 until December 1994. From September 1985 to May 1992, he served in a number of financial positions at Checkpoint Systems, Inc., a provider of security and access control systems, including serving as Accounting Manager from 1991 to 1992. He began his financial career as an auditor and CPA for Main Hurdman in Philadelphia.
Richard Siporin Richard H. Siporin “Rich” is Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and joined the company in January 2000. Previous to joining eGames, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Sunbeam, Inc., Health Division. In this position, he managed over $200 million in sales volume, along with all distribution, promotional and merchandising execution. From 1988 to 1998, he served in a number of positions at Revlon, Inc. all with increased responsibility. His last position was Vice President of Sales. From 1982 to 1988, he held a number of sales management positions with Playtex Family Products. His consumer products career began with Duracell, Inc. in 1980.
Ellen Pulver Flatt Ellen Pulver Flatt is Vice President & General Counsel. From 1992 until she joined eGames in July 1999, she was an associate with McCausland, Keen & Buckman, a law firm based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, where her practice focused in the areas of securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. Prior to entering Villanova University School of Law in 1989, Ms. Pulver Flatt was a newspaper reporter for the Neighbors section of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
